Darwin 9.2.0 is compatible with intel Core 2 Quad Q6600.
Darwin 9.2.0 does not block Apple Software Updates done on kexts, thus bricking the system upon updates.
Darwin 9.5.0 blocks kext updates by Apple Software Updates, thus allowing the Apple updates to function normally.
